Using Virtual Desktops
Operating systems such as Linux or Mac OSX provide the facility of having multiple desktops on one screen that are easily accessed through a mouse click or keystroke. Unfortunately Microsoft’s Windows doesn’t have this facility un less multiple screens are attached to the computer. Of course not all of us have two or more monitors that we can plug into our multi-head video graphics card, if we even have one installed that is. So, if we are Windows users we need to use virtual desktops to create those additional screens and switch between them using software.
The good news is that Microsoft Windows users can download and install this software to enjoy simple to use multiple screens making the best of your desktop real estate. As you would expect we are able to recommend the software required which can be found by following the link. This software is free for private use it seems, but does require a license for commercial users. We are not affiliated to the company who produces the software nor do we support it in anyway. www.dexpot.de.
