Some free resources for you to use
Over the next while we will be adding useful and free resources to help you get the most from your system and effectively saving you money by empowering you to perform some of the more common tasks. To start the ball rolling we added a simple glossary of a few commonly used terms that us IT people use. After that we added some information regarding archiving Microsoft Outlook pst files. This was followed by some anti-virus and anti malware tips. Then of course we added some tips about creating email accounts in Outlook.
In the pipeline we plan to give you some info on TCP/IP. This will help you understand how the traffic moves around the Internet.
Taking the opportunity to create free resources it seemed right to try and make sense of a couple of Microsoft areas that come up frequently (we will be adding more. And of course a little bit of assistance to help you decide whether it’s your machine getting worse for wear, or a piece of unwanted software is slowing your device down.
It isn’t compulsory for you to trawl through all this information though, and please feel free to contact us if these topics seem daunting.
Please remember these are free resources and are given without warranty and are supplied as is without free support. Some of the guides may include changes to your machine. If you decide to make these changes and your machine fails in some way we will NOT accept any liability for any damage caused by those changes being made.
As always, make sure your data is backed up before you start anything, just in case.
Where relevant, there are links to the appropriate pages on the site detailing software that will help.
